Well, I suppose I can’t force you to like online dating. And I get it — there are lots of nutcases out there and lots of profiles that look fake. (‘A fake profile of a woman on the internet, you say? Ridiculous!’) And I even get the feeling of meeting that amazing woman in real life and hitting it off.
But let’s talk numbers for a second. Think of this as the most fun business conversation you’ve ever had in your life.
It’s 2020, and your most valuable resource is time itself. After all, you don’t have the time to meet every single woman you’re interested in AND maintain a job AND maintain a social life. You can’t really be in 50 different places at once.
Well, with an online dating profile, you can be available to (at least!) 50 different women at once. So, think of it this way: there’s you, at the club, approaching a woman and muttering a barely audible ‘hi’. How many times has that worked as an opening line? Oh, we both know the answer to that.
On the other hand, your well-crafted profile with witty lines and strategic photos is attracting women who are interested, and that number goes into triple digits. Not to mention that it’s THEY who are looking for YOU. Once again, the numbers speak for themselves.
We are living in a digital age, and online dating is possibly the single greatest invention that our species has created. It offers endless options, and you would be a fool not to use it.
